Rabobank DO&V
A front-end platform for Rabobank’s risk model, streamlining deal origination and validation processes by integrating data from multiple systems, all within a user-friendly interface that enhances compliance and efficiency
Their challenge
The project aims to develop a front-end application for a more efficient, compliant, and user-friendly risk model. However, it faces significant challenges such as integrating various systems, meeting stringent regulatory requirements, and adhering to a tight deadline.
Our solution
The DO&V application is part of the larger ARROW process, therefore the go-live demanded intensive collaboration, involving multiple agile team consisting of a Rabobank product owner, an architect, business analysts, test specialists and Finaps engineers. Development of the MVP application was completed within one and a half year. The application was the front-end application for over 5 other Rabobank systems. The application provided data enrichment via manual input by the business users in addition to automated integrations with external data systems.
Functionalities
The application offers a rich set of functionalities designed to streamline the credit assessment process. Users begin their journey in ARROW C&E, where they can easily select a client and follow guided steps to set up an assessment. Relevant deal information is seamlessly retrieved from external sources. Intuitive screens and logic help users input data and establish client hierarchies by pulling information from various client systems.
Users can create, modify, and compare deal scenarios through user-friendly forms that manage financials, facilities, and collateral. The application dynamically displays relevant fields and scenarios based on the context, making the experience more efficient and tailored. All collected data is then used to calculate risk parameters. Once a scenario is finalised, it is frozen to prevent further changes. The updated data is then smoothly transferred between ARROW C&E and Fulfilment for the next steps in processing.
