Employee Onboarding Monitor (Merlin)
An internal application that is being used to monitor the requests for onboarding internal/external employees within the Rabobank. The application provides overview of all (ongoing) requests and can be used to extract insightful data from for reporting.
Their challenge
Consistently new employees are joining the Rabobank, and for each of them an onboarding process is in place that needs to be completed. This process contains multiple steps that are executed simultaneously with different lead time, as well as making use of different systems or even third parties that are involved. Data quality and consistency are key factors in their processes, which are lacking in the current application.
A new, scalable and improved application to replace the existing PowerApps application was required to streamline and get control of the onboarding process again.
Our solution
Merlin enables the Rabobank to create consistency in their data and take control over the onboarding processes by efficiently monitoring the onboarding requests. Merlin gives the end-users access to the required functionalities per role enabling them to create new onboarding requests, having a KanBan-like overview to monitor the state and progress of the requests, a chat feature, and a published OData service that can be used by other systems to consume and extract data for reporting.
